From what I can tell, most times things don't change too quickly.  But
with the latest models (classic, nano video, touch and iphone), the
database format changed and it took a little bit of time to reverse
engineer and test libgpod.  We've had that update in rawhide for a
month or so and it was in updates-testing for F7 and F8 for a few
weeks before moving to the normal updates repo last week sometime.
