I know. It was not nice on purpose. because I believe some people around here are not nice in the way they respond to very simple inquiries. OK Ric, I'll play along with you too, just for grins 'n giggles. Give us an example of how you would NOT use iptables to share an Internet connection "using Fedora OS."
You may wish to re-read the OP's question. It was extremely simple and straightforward. There are many very talented highly qualified people on this list who sometimes get hamstrung by those very attributes when they read too much into a simple question. And sometimes in Bill's case for example, I also believe they do it on purpose to belittle the poster or puff their own chest. That's not nice either, IMHO. That's all.

Not nice, Paul. That was not nice. I saw nothing in Azeez's post asking
about firewalls specifically. He could have been asking about routers
just as easily. Or hubs. Or setting up domains, ip addresses, DHCP, ftp,
or UUCP. He coulda been asking about NFS, ssh, IP tunneling, telnet,
apache, samba and shares. Everyone else fill in the remaining blanks.
This is a trick question and worth 10 additional points. You may start
writing ...now.
There's a helluva lot of trees in those woods there, between all the
possible connections to all the possible devices and all the possible
answers.
Azeez, it's better if you ask a question describing what you have and
what you want to have, which narrows down the possible answers to merely
a handful, instead of a dump truck load.
Who was that guy, about a year ago, that wanted us to do his homework? I
wonder if he graduated??Ric
