If you need > access to swap your flash drive will not last very long. A. I would expect it to serve: httpd, sshd, sendmail, mysql, dovecot. B. I'd heard that flash drives get tired, but the number of writes seems to have increased to millions? Does the same problem affect IDE flash drives, or have they got round it somehow?
