I decided to get the F7 live CD .iso file and use wget. I did the
first part using my web browser and I found a source for this file in CA
which is as close as possible. I had to find a source that uses FTP. As
the man pages say wget will only work with a FTP source.
So in a terminal I set up wget by using the copy function on F7
where you just take what was in the web browser and copy it over to the
terminal. It is a long bunch of letters and numbers so this method gets
it right. And here is what the terminal looks like with the download in
progress:
[karl@k5di ~]$ wget -c
ftp://ftp.uci.edu/mirrors/fedora/linux/releases/7/Live/i386/Fedora-7-Live-i686.iso
--11:09:10--
ftp://ftp.uci.edu/mirrors/fedora/linux/releases/7/Live/i386/Fedora-7-Live-i686.iso

I plan to let it run for awhile and then stop it. Then restart and
see what happens. I have used this before but never had to restart the
d/l :-)
