With VirtualPC2007 on Windows the CPU is not emulated, it is
virtualized, so the real host hardware is actually used concerning RAM
and CPU. All other hardware is emulated. But this makes VPC2007 very
fast, you barely notice that you are running in a virtual machine.

Of course it also means that the CPU is given, if you have a 32 bit
CPU, that's all you are ever going to be using in a virtual machine as
well...
