That doesn't work either.  Some folks are proud to ignore them.

"But I don't care what you people think, I like the taste of shit in
my Cheerios.  I will continue to shit in the Cheerio box we're all
sharing.  If you don't like it, you can pick out the Cheerios and
throw the shit in the trash can."  And on and on and on...

It's just a tad difficult to deal reasonably with unreasonable people.
That's why killfiles continue to exist.

(Not that I oppose anyone mocking the most egregious offenders.)
