I guess you were expecting something more like this: $ cat /proc/interrupts | grep timer 0: 611209 XT-PIC-XT timer $ cat /proc/interrupts | grep timer 0: 611766 XT-PIC-XT timer $ cat /proc/interrupts | grep timer 0: 612404 XT-PIC-XT timer Now I wonder why mine isn't like the others. This is off a Thinkpad T41 running kernel-2.6.22.4-65.fc7.
