I am still having issues with this, the machine just keeps crashing with either kernel errors or Journal errors. It was suggested to me to hook up a serial cable to the machine to get more detailed kernel debugs. I have the cable, but I don't know how to set it up. Can anyone explain that to me? -----Original Message----- From: fedora-list-bounces@xxxxxxxxxx [mailto:fedora-list-bounces@xxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Tony Nelson Sent: Wednesday, August 08, 2007 3:15 PM To: fedora-list@xxxxxxxxxx Subject: RE: fedora 6 kernel panic issues At 10:21 AM -0700 8/8/07, Jason Taylor wrote: >>From this smartctl report, (running smartctl -a -d ata /dev/sda) it >looks like the drive is not having any errors. Don't forget the cables. -- ____________________________________________________________________ TonyN.:' <mailto:tonynelson@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> ' <http://www.georgeanelson.com/> -- fedora-list mailing list fedora-list@xxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe: https://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/fedora-list
