"no suspend signature" just means you are not coming back out of hibernation, it is a normal cold boot. You don't mention what the final state of the boot is. Are you able to log in despite some brain damage during the boot, or it blows chunks fatally somewhere? Do the initscripts run? When the mount for usbfs segfaults, how was that visible to you? -Andy
