gnome-shutdown applet: command or keyboard shortcut

Hi all,

I would like to evoke the gnome-shutdown applet (=shutdown dialog) by a
command or keyboard shortcut. Do you have any idea how to achieve it,
what command is in the background of this applet?

"Weak" alternatives I've found:

I)immediate shutdown, suspend, hibernate or restart (without dialog)
by gnome-power-cmd.sh: "gnome-power-cmd.sh shutdown",...

II)power button: get a dialog window (not the same as that of the
shutdown applet, not shortcut/command, no hibernate option); ACPI event.

III)external applications (nice programs, but without hibernate option
-- currently): "Shutdown Now" (http://www.anthsworld.co.nr/),
"Gshutdown" (http://gshutdown.tuxfamily.org).

Other experience:

IV)In "Main:System:Preferences:Personal:Keyboard Shortcuts" no keyboard
shortcut definition possibility is available for the shutdown applet.

V)shutdown applet: no Properties; its icon is "gnome-shutdown.svg", but
there is no "gnome-shutdown" command.

Any idea is appreciated,

Zoli
