But having a conductive object completely loose inside the casing is a very bad thing. Even if the design is such that the motherboard is in a tower with no electronic parts at the bottom of the casing, there's still the chance that the box could be picked up, tipped, and a loose object lodge somewhere where there is circuitry. -- (This box runs FC5, my others run FC4 & FC6, in case that's important to the thread.)
