After upgrading from FC6 to FC7 the hostid of my computer
became 007f0100, which if I understand things correctly
means it thinks that the IP address is 127.0.0.1, which it is not.
I've checked the network config and it looks fine, and I can
access the machine from elsewhere.
The hostid is important as certain programs will not run if
the hostid is incorrect/changed.
Another machine, which was upgraded from FC5, had no such
problem. Any ideas?
