I can imagine that there could be advantages if your docs say en-US, rather than just EN, for doing spell-checking, and so on, when you have software that supports other EN variants. It seems a rather strange thing to complain about, that something specifically describes itself, rather than vaguely does so. -- (This box runs FC5, my others run FC4 & FC6, in case that's important to the thread.)
