True.  This is because support for Onstream (a company now bankrupt)
tape drive was removed from the latest kernel.  I'd be happy if I could
just prevent the kernel from trying to identify it.  If there is any way
to do that I would be grateful.  My system is dual boot and I do use the
drive under Windows from time to time.
