Well, there's always checking out the -devel branch ("rawhide").
Sometimes it helps to stop and restart a bittorrent download. And, of
course, make sure that you are uploading as well ("sharing"), but not so
much as to starve the download for ACKs. Or the torrent may be slow
because there are few participants, and none of them are sharing much.
