Hi All, 1. chroot /mnt/sysimage /bin/sh 2. /sbin/ifup eth0 3. rpm -e --nodeps grub 4. rpm --install grub Thanks for your comments Allen this went really well up until 3. rpm -e --nodeps grub Where I got the message - error: open of grub failed: no such file or directory Any ideas? Jim "There are several ways to get grub to install. One method is grub-install /dev/<hard-diskID>" Hi Jim I have tried various routes to get grub installed including the grub-install command to the hard disk id no matter what the id is it always comes back with an error. If anyone has any more suggestions they would be greatly appreciated. Darren Foster No virus found in this outgoing message. Checked by AVG Free Edition.
