Yep, it's broken unfortunately. I get exactly the same issue. You can
however use it from the command line by doing the following:
gnome-obex-send --dest=<BDADDR> <file>
You have to use the hardware address of the bluetooth device you want
to send to, but typing
Thanks for the tip. It is sad that these issues exist. But I guess, we
can only hope that things will change. I say hope, because, even though
there is a patch available, it is neither available in updates-testing
nor in stable :(
I guess as an alternative I could configure a nautilus action with my

A blog entry[1] by Harold Hoyer mentions that he has submitted the
patch and that the FC6 updates will follow. I have the latest
/stable/ updates for FC6, but I am not sure this patch has made it in.
No the patch has not made it in yet.
If someone has a clue on which package this should be in, the please
let me know the package details. If this patch has not yet made it
in, then is there a timeline for this package to get in?
The package in question is gnome-bluetooth. As for a timescale i have
no idea, it's up to the maintainer I suppose. However there's an
interesting entry for the package in bugzilla which mentions that the
maintainer was told not to include a newer version of the package.
