I'm still thinking about my prior suggestion. Can you try another keyboard, you might have one that isn't working well when you press three keys at once. And just for experimenting sake, change the key-combination used to call it up. Klipper has preferences that let you do that.
This happened of 2 different laptops, so we can guess that hardware error is out of the question. I can try to change klipper preferences and see what happens. But to me that still doesn't answer the question how ANY combination of keys can restart X! That is a serious bug!
