The nv configuration is the open source driver. The nvidia
configuration is the driver supplied by Nvidia. But you may want to
take a look at http://www.nvidia.com/object/IO_32667.html to see if
you should be using the legacy driver instead of nvidia.

No, the FX3500 is definitely supported in 1.0-9746.
