Well, Realplayer can be a problem child but has *usually* worked,  Helix 
OTOH, seems to suffer from an attempt to lock the user into whatever 
protocol they support, M$ style embrace and extend I guess.  I have NDI 
whats in my rpm database for helix, but when I'd had enough, I ran a 
locate and nuked anything that fell out.  When I put FC6 on in place of 
FC2 on this box, I never let helix anywhere near it.  Once case of food 
poisoning from that was enough.
