I believe it was 0.9.30 and it was on Fedora Core 6, x86_64.  I can
check when I get home.

What version of your wine and linux system? My impression is that wine tools
(wineconfig etc) uses too much video memery that the x-window just freezes.
share your  tip if you make it work
