Drives can still play discs, apparently fine, to us, but actually not be reading them very easily.
The drive spins up, the light flickers exactly the same for the good ones as well as the bad ones. But for the ones it ignores reports that the drive is empty, no media present. I am going to asume it's a problem with the discs being old or worn as suggested for now and see how it goes... -- Rob
