"Reliable" in the sense that it was not intermittent. My BIOS has a setting that will force power off when thermal violations are detected. I have decided to dust my system, I have also decided to get this cpu fan, http://www.quietpcusa.com/acb/showdetl.cfm?&DID=8&Product_ID=266&CATID=3 , and a new power supply. I am also going to update my case fans. Thank you for the help.
