If you're using > usb try the parallel hookup instead. ------gary If there *is* a usb problem, think about where it is plugged in. I say this because my deskjet990 would not install, even under windows, if I plugged it into a hub. It had to be plugged in to the primary backplate usb connector to work. Anne
