For loadlin, you need a kernel, named vmlinuz (to meet mess-dos
requirements) and an initial RAM disk, named initrd.img. Get those
from your /boot directory. E.g:

vmlinuz-2.6.18-1.2849.fc6 -> vmlinuz
initrd-2.6.18-1.2849.fc6.img -> initrd

Then set up a batch file like the following:

    cd \f6
    \loadlin vmlinuz initrd=initrd.img root=/dev/rd/0 rw

and put the kernel and initrd into the directory f6.

Now a question for you. I usually use loadlin to boot for
installation. I have not gotten that to work with FC6. Ideas? I just
pulled in linld, so I'll see if that works.

Oh, and please turn off HTML email. Thanks.
