We must be using different settings, Mike. I have a pretty customized KDE environment. I don't remember losing any of my settings.

Perhaps. I don't know. I do know that my 'desktops' were renamed to 'workspaces' and everything ended up in 'desktop 1'. Also, instead of 8 desktops, I magically dropped to 4 desktops. Fortunately, a restart cleared most of it though.
