The sad thing is that if you venture into the KDE IRC list and mention Fedora or RedHat, the crowd gets a little ugly, like real fast.
[ snip ] Some of you may have no idea how true that is. I am thankful every day that I rarely have problems with KDE myself, because I wouldn't dare go to irc://freenode/kde if I suspected I would have to mention that I was on Fedora. Similarly, there are always a few "unnice" folks at irc://freenode/fedora who will be more than willing to plainly state that if one wants to use Fedora , ditch KDE (and similiar comments). I myself have had such comments directed to me - the person must have thought me to be some n00b who would run of and use their DE of choice instead. -- Fedora Core 5 and proud
