I guess from the driver CD drivers that it should be a Realtek adapter of 8100C-8110SC series which is not in the adapters list of the Network Configuration tool. Closest matches are RTL8129 and RTL8139.

Any hints ?

What does lspci say about the NIC?

# lspci | grep Ether
00:09.0 Ethernet controller: Realtex Semiconductor Co., Ltd. RTL-8169SC Gigabit Ethernet (rev 10)

How should I proceed to add this to the list of available ethernet cards in network configuration ?
