I want to install FC6 on my laptop. When I install I usually do a complete new install instead of an update. What is the consensus on the best partition scheme and size?
I like to use just 2 partitions: one for '/', typically 10G or so, and
one for '/home' for the rest of the disk (plus the swap partition of
course). That way you can reinstall without touching /home, though be
sure to backup your /etc directory and/or any emails in /var/spool.
