Hi.. I have 2 unix boxes, XXX and YYY. I issued the same command in the 2 boxes as below for
eth0:0 and I found that the Bcast that I get are different. Why ? The correct Bcast should be
10.1.113.63 ? And also how do I make the eth0:0 to stay after the reboot ?

[root@xxx root]# ifconfig eth0:0 10.1.113.3 netmask 255.255.255.192 up
the result come up as

eth0:0 Link encap:Ethernet HWaddr 00:0D:60:9A:1E:20
          inet addr:10.1.113.3 Bcast:10.255.255.255 Mask:255.255.255.192

Bcast is 10.255.255.255

[root@yyy root]# ifconfig eth0:0 10.1.113.3 netmask 255.255.255.192 up

the result is inet addr:10.1.113.3 Bcast:10.1.113.63 Mask:255.255.255.192
