Audiocd missing from KDE 3.5.3?

A few days ago I installed the KDE 3.5.3 updates to my FC5 system. KDE
had previously been at 3.5.2. Yesterday I went to rip a couple of CDs
using KAudiocreator and it failed, saying audiocd was an unknown
protocol. After a bit of digging, I downloaded the rpm files for both
3.5.2 and 3.5.3 of kdemultimedia. Upon comparing them it appears that
audiocd is in 3.5.2 but not 3.5.3:

rpm -qpl kdemultimedia-3.5.2-0.1.fc5.i386.rpm | grep audiocd
/usr/lib/kde3/kcm_audiocd.la
/usr/lib/kde3/kcm_audiocd.so
/usr/lib/kde3/kio_audiocd.la
/usr/lib/kde3/kio_audiocd.so
/usr/lib/kde3/libaudiocd_encoder_flac.la
/usr/lib/kde3/libaudiocd_encoder_flac.so
/usr/lib/kde3/libaudiocd_encoder_lame.la
/usr/lib/kde3/libaudiocd_encoder_lame.so
/usr/lib/kde3/libaudiocd_encoder_vorbis.la
/usr/lib/kde3/libaudiocd_encoder_vorbis.so
/usr/lib/kde3/libaudiocd_encoder_wav.la
/usr/lib/kde3/libaudiocd_encoder_wav.so
/usr/lib/libaudiocdplugins.la
/usr/lib/libaudiocdplugins.so
/usr/lib/libaudiocdplugins.so.1
/usr/lib/libaudiocdplugins.so.1.0.0
/usr/share/applications/kde/audiocd.desktop
/usr/share/apps/kconf_update/audiocd.upd
/usr/share/apps/konqueror/servicemenus/audiocd_extract.desktop
/usr/share/apps/konqueror/servicemenus/audiocd_play.desktop
/usr/share/config.kcfg/audiocd_lame_encoder.kcfg
/usr/share/config.kcfg/audiocd_vorbis_encoder.kcfg
/usr/share/doc/HTML/en/kioslave/audiocd.docbook
/usr/share/services/audiocd.protocol

rpm -qpl kdemultimedia-3.5.3-0.1.fc5.i386.rpm | grep audiocd
/usr/share/apps/konqueror/servicemenus/audiocd_extract.desktop
/usr/share/apps/konqueror/servicemenus/audiocd_play.desktop
/usr/share/doc/HTML/en/kioslave/audiocd.docbook

I didn't see anything mentioned about this in previous messages to this
list and googling for this problem turned up old reports on much older
versions of KDE but nothing recent. I took a look at the KDE bug
reports and didn't see anything there, either.

Did this get left out of kdemultimedia by mistake or was it on purpose?
If the latter, has it been moved to another rpm file? If so, which one
and if not, how do I get KAudiocreator working once again? Nothing I've
tried has worked so far.

Or, did I do something wrong?

Thanks for any help and let me know if more info is needed.

Charlie
