Fix a Broken Yum

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

We moved to a v_dedicated server running FC3. That broke all my
FC4 database files (millions of records in 20 or so tables).

To upgrade mysqld, I forced a yum FC4 upgrade which dutifully
upgraded all of the dependencies (PHP5, HTTPD and so on - about 70
mb worth).

Everything works great on my FC 3-1/2 server except yum and, to sort
out all of the dependencies, I need yum to fix yum.

Anyone have any brilliant ideas? I know, I know. But I had a queue of
close to 200 removal requests that I could not process without mysql
working.
