I've been doing pxe boot installs with ISO images since Fedora Core 1.
In fact, my pxe boot install server is RUNNING FC1, and I do installs
from it for CentOS (i386 and x86_64), K12LTSP, Fedora Core, and RHEL.

I was trying to figure out how to make installation easier and faster.
Eventually I came across the pxe install method in Red Hat's EL
documentation. It's all spelled out in there.

I haven't done a "normal" CD install in quite a few years.
