Hi all, I installed FC5 on my Toshiba A60 notebook with no problem, after the first boot I tested the sound and did here the test music sound, I loged in GNOME and check the volume control and every thing seems to be fine, after I rebooted the machine I log back in GNOME I found the little sound Icon muted, and the device is Modem Speakers !! I tried alsa mixer and it gave me this : alsamixer: function snd_ctl_open failed for default: No such device I also updated alsa-utils didnt wok too, I am new to linux and I dont know why the system changed the device ! and how can I configure it like it was before rebooting, I tried Login as root and its the same problem.
