Well, I re-installed FC 5 (instead of the upgrade). This solved the YUM problem - too much memory used. When I do a 'yum update' it uses all the memory and eventually crashes. Is there a way to find out the root cause - presumably an .rpm file? Is it better to just re-install FC 5? Thanks mike J.
