Sorry i forgot,
after entering that lines, run alsamixer and make sure you unmute master
and frontal and set the volume to a desire level.

Check the volume control panel, make sure pcm and master aren't muted.
You can also try to add DAC to your control list through preferences.
If avail, check to see that it is not muted or turned down.
