No, this is the systemrescue cd, and it has lots of tools on it I'm still exploring. qtparted is just one of many utils for fiddling with disks on it. The most interesting is one called ntfsresize. But it appears one has to follow that up with a run of fdisk to complete the change, otherwise its gone the next time winderz is booted. And hp is giving me a load of crap about losing the hardware warranty if I install any 3rd party software on it. I printed that puppy out and I don't read it that way at all. Plus I found some other tools, and checked the backup dvd's it asked me to burn, and they appear to be able to fully reimage the drive, so I'm less concerned about making linux space on it now. I just want to be awake when i do it... >http://gparted.sourceforge.net/ > >http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=115843&package_i >d=173828&release_id=408748 > >-- > >Links: http://del.icio.us/furlan > >Home: http://flprim.us/index.html > >"The whole world is about three drinks behind." -- Humphrey Bogart I've always run under the premise that it was beer-thirty and I was one behind. :-) -- Cheers, Gene People having trouble with vz bouncing email to me should add the word 'online' between the 'verizon', and the dot which bypasses vz's stupid bounce rules.
