Nope no /bin/rpm file... that's where I thought it should be, but... couldn't find it... yea, how does one go about installing rpm from and rpm? is there just an rpm executable out there somewhere I can just download?

I have just upgraded to FC5, but I somehow lost my yum. When I run yum, I get a "No module named rpm" message. Is there anyplace I can get a new rpm? I have looked all over my machine and can't seem to find one. If I type rpm I get a lovely "bash: rpm: command not found" error.

Can someone please help me?

Thanks,
Don

Check if there's a file called /bin/rpm ? If not...that's quite a dilemma. You can download the rpm package (http://download.fedora.redhat.com/pub/fedora/linux/core/5/i386/os/Fedora/RPMS/) but as a catch-22, it's an RPM...
