Then I guess you're running fc5, that plugin is 3.21. You can get an
earlier plug-in from
mplayerplug-in. I also assume you're running Firefox. Later
mplayerplug-ins would always
ignore mime-types in Firefox. ( for me at least ) .  I never tried using
Mozilla - maybe the
preferences will stick - using Mozilla,    --gary
