You ought to look back at the long thread about installing everything, here's a brief summary: It's just not applicable to most computers, and perhaps not actually possible. For example, you really don't want all the kernels installed for each type of CPU when you only have one type. You don't want 32 and 64 bit packages installed if you have a 32 bit system.
