P5V800-MX with Fedora core 4

Hello,

I have just istalled Fedora Core 4 on my new PC with a P5V800-MX
Motherboard. It has a VIA P4M800 Chipset. With kernel 2.6.14 the
ethernet was not visible. When I upgraded to kernel 2.6.15 the
network started working ok, but  X-Windows would not start. Our
administrator told me that I have to wait for another release
with appropriate graphics driver.

I tried to put another graphic card but this did not help.

Is there anythig else I could do now?
May be some of you have dealt with this motherboard succesfully.
