Yes, it even comes with one.

Don't know, that depends on your needs, and I've not used rsh.

If you want to see what's on a remote desktop (e.g. one you've left
running), VNC is one way of doing things.  If you just want to run a
remote computer, including with GUI, then ssh is good and simple.

If you leave a computer doing something, and want to keep tabs on it
when you go to another PC, SSH won't allow you to see the desktop like
VNC can.
