What I just tried that might be quicker (was at least able to add a
second Trash):
right-click on the Desktop, select Create new Link to Location,
In the Link to URL space, type 'Trash:/'
Click OK. That seems to be it. (In this case I had to name it Trash2,
since it complained that there already was a Trash on the Desktop.
