Thanks for that suggesstion. I tried and found out, that its not due to a
shut down port on the switch.
When connecting a computer to the same port afterwards, the port works
perfectly.

Hmm. Gotta check for something else.

The fiber interface in the pc undoubtedly does autonegotiation. The port on the other side may not. with miitool you can force the interface to the values you have set on the switch/router on te other end.
