I know the detailed way, but the notes I saw were a little more distilled.
I dont know about those.
But If you're talking about a tool blindly doing the work for you, I
dont think it would be a good idea to use them...


NOt so much doing the work for me as starting me off a little further down the ladder.

Perhaps you're thinking of "checkinstall"?
