Virtual window manager like GNOME for Windows XP?

I use GNOME on FC4 at home - and I like the ability to have 21 panes
for the desktop.

Any suggestions for how I can get something like this on Windows XP
(hiss!) for use at work? I've tried Microsoft's power toy (hah!), and
it's pretty pathetic in comparison.
