Forgetting one really useful thing NNTP is better at than mail, at least if you don't have IMAP: Getting a quick list of headers, without having to download all the messages. On a quiet list fetching everything's not too much of a problem, but this one's quite busy. I had a look at NNTP access to this mailing list as mentioned on here: <http://dir.gmane.org/gmane.linux.redhat.fedora.general>, but every groups is listed as moderated. I didn't try posting to see how it handled it, though. -- Don't send private replies to my address, the mailbox is ignored. I read messages from the public lists.
