Since the introduction of the kernel 1526_FC4 the boot stop during the process at the time it check the /home/file: here are the messages: .... Setting up Local Volume Management: No Volume found [OK] Checking file systems fsck.ext3: No such file or directory while tryng to open /dev/sda9 ** An error occured during the file system check ** Dropping you to a shell: the system will reboot ** when leaving the shell Give root password to the shell (or type Ctl-D to continue) -------------------------- (1) /dev/sda9 /home ext3 rw 0 0 there is no problem with this partition (2) Ctl-D gives nothing. To reboot I have to use Ctl-Alt-BkSp (3) Returning to the previous kernel, I have no problem to boot and no problem with this partition. (4) Of course fsck.ext3 is in /sbin/ --------------------------- Material used: Laptop Toshiba Satelllite M40-135FR, recent 32 bits arch.
