Hello; I have an external IDE drive in a firewire enclosure. It is ext3 and used to mount and work fine under FC2 with newer kernel. Now when I power it off then on this is what I get in /var/log/messages: [root@localhost mick]# tail /var/log/messages Aug 6 03:17:26 localhost kernel: ieee1394: Error parsing configrom for node 0-00:1023 <snip network stuff> Aug 6 03:17:31 localhost kernel: ohci1394: fw-host0: SelfID received outside of bus reset sequence I just tried the latest kernel: [root@localhost mick]# uname -a Linux localhost.localdomain 2.6.13-rc5-mick #1 Sat Aug 6 02:27:42 PDT 2005 i686 athlon i386 GNU/Linux When I boot the XP partition it sees the drive and wants to format it. When I run "explore2fs.exe" it sees the drive and the files on it just fine. lsmod gives: ohci1394 34612 0 ieee1394 299704 1 ohci1394 The system is current with yum upgrade as of today. I get the same on FC4 and on FC5 (FC4 with *test* repositories). Thanks Mick M. Dogs have Masters - Siamese Cats have Staff! __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
