I will highly recommend Fedora over Linspire anytime. I have installed Fedora at school on some of my friends PC's and they absolutely LOVE IT. No more pop ups, adware/spyware to worry about. It is very hard though to get more people to give linux a try and still Microsoft has a very strong grip(not the Grip to rip/encode ogg/mp3 files from CD's) on many schools(K-12) across the U.S.A.
